The Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering offers a variety of graduate degree programs to meet your needs. We offer master's and doctoral degree programs for full-time students on the Lawrence campus, and master's degree programs in the evenings for part-time students in the Kansas City, Lawrence, and Topeka areas. Our graduate degree programs in Construction Management and Environmental Science do not require bachelor's degrees in engineering.

As a full-time graduate student on the Lawrence campus, you can:

As a part-time graduate student in one of our evening programs, you can:

  • Earn your master's degree while continuing full-time employment
  • Take civil engineering graduate courses at the KU Edwards Campus in Overland Park
  • Take construction management graduate courses in the evening in Lawrence


Missouri residents in the Kansas City area receive special KC Metro tuition rates at the KU Edwards Campus.
